The Bible makes it clear that God directs in the political affairs of nations. “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding” (Daniel 2:21). Political leaders today, from the global and national levels to the local level, face tremendous challenges. As Christians, it is our duty to pray for our political leaders and ask for God’s guidance and intervention in their decisions and in the laws that are passed. Pray today that God will guide your local and municipal leaders to make decisions that will enable the gospel work to go forward in your area.
